Handcrafted by Woodworks is a bespoke joinery and furniture workshop in Northampton. The business sells high-value fitted interiors such as kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, wine rooms, boot rooms and utility rooms, while also offering ready-to-order products including vanity units and outdoor kitchens.
That creates a bigger challenge than a normal brochure website can handle. The site has to build trust, show past work properly, capture detailed enquiries, support configurable product sales, and help the business understand where leads and orders are coming from.
App Ranch built one connected platform around that job.
The Brief
Handcrafted needed a site that could do more than look good. It needed to work as a luxury portfolio, a sales brochure, an online shop, a lead capture system and a business management tool.
A standard website would have struggled with the depth of the portfolio. A basic e-commerce store would not have handled the bespoke nature of the products properly. Separate SaaS tools would have added cost, complexity and disconnected data.
The brief was to build a platform that matched how the business actually sells: visual, detailed, high-trust, and built around both bespoke enquiries and configured product orders.

Bespoke customers can explore completed work, understand the services, and send a detailed enquiry from the page they are already viewing. Product customers can configure a vanity unit or outdoor kitchen with clear options, images, VAT pricing and checkout.
Behind the scenes, the team can manage the site, track leads, update content, review orders, build campaign links and see what marketing is working without needing a developer for every change.
